On September 15th, 2016 I shipped many items that my local consignment shop would not take because they were too high quality for what they would accept (shout out to platos closet, Dubuque, IA for not knowing a single thing about fashion). On September 21st, I received an automated email saying that they received my bag and that it would be processed by Monday, October 31st.

Okay should have been red flag #1. How could it possible take over a month to inspect 15 pieces of clothing?? On October 16th, I received an email from Anthony S. Marino thanking be for sending in my first bag.

He was emailing me to ensure I was happy with my experience. He shared his experience with ThredUp, and welcomed feedback, stating that "I read every one of these emails. I am no a robot; I am real!" I work in marketing automation so I know this was an automated email, I'm not stupid. It also stated at the end if I had any specific troubles about my payout or technical issues, to contact support@***.com.

Saying "They will dig right in and get you a speedy response." I waited a few days and emailed him back saying that I haven't received any form of payment for my items and asked for any information he may have on my bag. I checked my thredup account online and it said that my bag was processed and I was receiving $0.00 for my items. It said something about sending items back to me but not option to click send back to me, or even a tracking number. Nothing.

No respond from Anthony, so a week or so later I contacted support from the website stating my issue. Still no response. I sent another complaint in today and still no respond and see that the automated email came from "kintwits" which was different than the first complaint I sent in. I sent Anthony another email and still no response.

There is also no number to contact anyone.

I am getting a lawyer involved and searching their sight for my items to see if they are selling them. This is outrageous that a company like this is scamming so many people.

The same thing happened to me. I sent in hundreds of dollars of clothing.

No pilling, no stains, no tears, etc. Some were never worn. Most were small or size 6. I even washed all the clothes and folded them neatly.

Out of all the clothes I sent in (literally the bag was full and heavy), they posted 4 items and they all sold. But I received no payout, because they made sure that my payout would be less than the $9.99 first bad handling fees. I too was upset how long it took them to process my bag. Almost 9 weeks!

I hate this scamming *** bag of company. I'm telling everybody I know they are total ***
